Training Providers
Finding a training provider
Skills for Care Yorkshire and the Humber has developed an online database, the training provider directory. This database has a search engine tool and is designed to assist employers to:
- identify local provision
- search easily for a provider who offers a particular qualification or course
- use the information provided to make an informed decision about the quality of the training on offer
- compare costs for training

Choosing a training provider
Training quality standards such as the Framework for Excellence and the Training Quality Standard should make it a simpler process for employers to judge the quality and reliability of the training provider.
Skills for Care have also produced a series of four publications called the Care Training Codes, which are each aimed at a different audience - learners, training providers, individual employers and purchasers of training.
